The Center promotes student success and engagement by building a supportive and intellectual community that is inclusive of all Carnegie Mellon University community members.

First Together @ CMU
ORIGINS
ORIGINS is a pre-orientation program focusing on diversity, inclusion and leadership development for historically and socially minoritized first-year students, specifically focusing on those social identities in gender, gender expression, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, as well as those who are the first generation in their families to go to college and Pell grant recipients.
Graduate Students of Color Gatherings
The Graduate Students of Color Gatherings provide opportunities to meet and discuss topics of interest that are unique to graduate students of color. All graduate student, post-doctoral fellows, faculty and administrator communities are invited to network, share ideas and experiences and gather resources.
Graduate Women Gatherings
The Graduate Women Gatherings provide opportunities for women to meet and discuss topics of interest that are unique to graduate women. All women of the graduate student, post-doctoral fellows, faculty and administrator communities are invited to network, share ideas and experiences and gather resources.
